Her father, Daniel Coronell, is the former president of Univision News and her mother, Mar\u00eda Cristina Uribe, was a well-known TV news anchor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coronell Uribe said that as president, she plans to prioritizing diversity and inclusion. \u201cWe have to make sure that doesn\u2019t mean that I\u2019m the last,\u201d Coronell Uribe said in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/amp\/s\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/amp\/rcna5438\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/amp\/s\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/amp\/rcna5438\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">interview<\/a> with NBC Latino. \u201cI really want to make sure that this door remains open for other people.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A recent U.S. Government Accountability Office report found that Hispanic-Latino workers made up 8-percent of all employees working for newspaper, magazine, book and directory publishers in 2019, reported The Washington Post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Harvard University\u2019s incoming freshman class is 12.5 percent Hispanic or Latino, a group that represents about 8.9 percent of the paper\u2019s staff, according to a\u00a0recent diversity survey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Founded in 1873, the storied publication\u2019s alumni include Franklin D. Roosevelt, John F.
