When he asks her for a shocking favor, it brings to light both of their deepest secrets\u2014and sets off a provocative, intimate theatrical triumph,\u201d reads TWH\u2019s description.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to continue celebrating our 40th Anniversary Season with The Counter \u2014 a play that feels unmistakably TWH,\u201d commented TheaterWorks Artistic Director Rob Ruggiero. \u201cIt embodies all the qualities our audiences have cherished over the past four decades: authenticity, heart, simplicity, and just enough surprise to keep you leaning in.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The performance\u2019s cast includes Justis Bolding, who\u2019s making her Connecticut theatre and TWH debut, Tim DeKay from White Collar and Fever Dreams at TWH, and Erika Rolfsrud from TWH\u2019s production of Good People.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The creative team includes: Tijana Bjelajac (Set Design), Risa Ando (Costume Design), Matthew Richards (Lighting Design), Minjae Kim (Sound Design), Lauren Marina (Props Lead), and Tom Kosis (Stage Manager).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis season is also a joyful gathering of old friends and familiar faces. We\u2019re welcoming back Tim DeKay, whose unforgettable work in Fever Dreams still resonates with so many of us, and the remarkable Erika Rolfsrud, who brought such depth and humanity to Good People and other TWH productions.
